Alexandria Bass

Alexandria Bass is a Virtual & Live Events Professional who was born and raised in New Orleans, LA. She started her journey in the music industry while attending Dillard University in 2008. After getting her start at the Essence Music Festival, Alexandria has supported all facets of the live event industry, from artist hospitality and artist relations to venue management and tour management. With over 14 years of experience in the music industry, Alexandria has worked for major festivals including New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, Afropunk Music Festival, and Bonnaroo Music Festival. She has also ventured into the corporate space as a stage manager for large conferences. Alexandria has provided tour management for artists including The Robert Glasper Experiment, Amanda Seales, and Cory Henry.

In addition to her work in the music industry, Alexandria is an activist who works to support racial justice and gender equity. Alexandria is the co-founder of Power Up Presents, an organization that works to expand gender equity and racial justice in the music industry through workshops and educational opportunities, providing insight and support to individuals seeking to dismantle inequitable systems.

When Alexandria isn’t on the road or enjoying her temporary residence in Tulum, Mx, she enjoys exploring different cultures, trying new cuisines & befriending fellow travelers while crossing off as many countries as possible from her ‘List’. She has traveled to 16 countries & eagerly awaits her next passport stamp.
